1996 Porsche Boxster (986) Artic Silver - car poster print
Following on from the Boxster concept from 1993, Porsche first mid-engine road car was introduced in 1996. Powered by a 2.5 litre flat six until 2000 when the 2.7 and 3.2S were offered, the car offered a superb driving experience and helped launch Porsche into a new era of water-cooled sports cars. It also shared common elements with the 996 911, from the windscreen forward both car's shared the same body structure with each having different bumpers to distinguish them.
