The Porsche 917. Probably one of the most famous race cars. The David Piper Racing 917 is well known. In 1970 he infamously crashed a 917 during the filming of the Steve McQueen film Lemans, losing part of one leg but later went on to race his own personal 917 at various classic race series around the globe. This No.7 livery is replicated from one of those events.
