1989 Volkswagen Rallye Golf - Motorsport White - car poster print
The Rallye Golf was a limited run homologation special, produced between 1989 and 1991. Developed with intent to rally, until the regulations changed, the Rallye Golf was left-hand-drive only and featured bespoke flared wheel arches, four wheel drive and a supercharged 1.8 engine, plus additional specification over regular Golfs. At the time it was substantially more expensive than the regular GTI.
Never officially released, various Rallye's were produced in white, for cars destined for use in motorsport.
